Milý poutníku,
Monastýr sv. Rostislava byl s požehnáním metropolita Doroteje založen v roce 2000. Domovní kapli zasvěcenou poustevníku Ivanu českému vysvětil v roce 2002 acibiskup pražský a současný metropolita českých zemí a Slovenska jeho blaženost vladyka Kryštof.

Posláním monastýru je sloužit věřícím v regionu a podporovat jejich zbožnost a vzdělávání ve víře. Slouží také jako ubytování případným poutníkům a na církví určenou dobu i potřebným.

Činnost monastýru :

• pastorační činnost
• humanitární pomoc v tuzemsku a v zahraničí
• provozování sociálních služeb
• služby pro vzdělávání a výchovu
• poradenská sociální činnost

V letošním roce proběhne několik seminářů na téma:

Cesty k náboženskému porozumění, kterého se zúčastní lidé různých vyznání z tuzemska i ze zahraničí.

Dear pilgrim,

St Rostislav Monastery was founded in the year 2000 with blessing of Metropolitan Dorotej. The home chapel consecrated to hermit Ivan the Czech was consecrated in the year 2002 by the Prague Archbishop and present Metropolitan of the Czech countries and Slovakia his Excellency Archbishop Christopher.

The mission of the monastery is to serve to religious people in the region and support their religiousness and education in the faith. It also serves as an accomodation to pilgrims and people in need for a period given by the Church.

• Educational services
• Consultancy in social spheres

A few seminars will be held this year, the topic is „ The ways to religious understanding". People of different religions from this and other countries will attend the seminar.

The date of seminary about religious conciliation is 30.4.2011. The number of participants is 27. They are from 8 countries and of 5 different religions.
